After the post season has come to an end, the time has come to name the Most Valuable Player. There were so many players who are qualified to this award in this season because there arise some very good players but there can only be one, Kobe Bryant from Los Angeles Lakers. “It’s a disservice to him, his talent and his drive to be the player he is — and the player you love — to present Kobe Bryant with the MVP award because you feel sorry for him that he hasn’t won it before. One of the reasons you love Kobe is because he shows no pity for his opponents. Kobe’s a stone-cold closer. He’s no charity case”. (Nba.com). During the whole season Kobe did not maintain as the top, at first it was Kevin Garnett then the most crucial was in the last weeks of the league wherein Chris Paul and Kobe are so close in statistics. Many then have debated in who will win but it has come to an end. One reason also is because the LA Lakers has clinched the western conference with a team record of 57-25. He has also became a leader to the team and he started trusting his teammates. By the way, it took him 12 season to achieve this award.
For me Kobe deserves it and he will continue to the greatest amongst the players in the NBA. This is not just the last, but I can see that there is more to come for such a very good player.
